Brief Introduction of CQTBI
Founded in 2005, Chongqing Technology and Business Institute (hereinafter referred to as "CQTBI") is a full-time institution of higher education established by Chongqing Municipal People's Government with the approval of China’s Ministry of Education. With its two campuses respectively located in Jiu Long Po District and Hechuan District, CQTBI occupies a total area of 1,399 mu square meters, over 1000 faculty member and a total enrolment of 14,000 students. CQTBI has now become a national key vocational college and Chongqing demonstration vocational college. Furthermore, in 2019, CQTBI has been rated as one of the Model in terms of China 50 high quality higher vocational schools and 150 core specialties with Chinese characteristics.
In recent years, the performance of CQTBI has been recognized widely in society. CQTBI has ranked 48th among China's higher vocational colleges in terms of innovation and development influence, the top 50 in social service capabilities and the top 100 in comprehensive level, and won the "Top 50 Service Contributions of Higher Vocational Colleges” . In the "2018 Evaluation Report on Colleges (Universities) and specialties in China" released by CASEE, RCCSE and Network of Science & Education Evaluation in China, CQTBI ranked 60th from 1386 higher vocational schools in China and 4th in Chongqing.
In the continuous exploration, CQTBI has formed an innovation model of “integration, pluralism and three-mixing” to build an open university, comprehensively promoting the construction of displings. Over its 15 years’ development, CQTBI has set up 8 colleges, including COLLEGE OF MANAGEMENT，ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE，COLLEGE OF MEDIA& ARTS, INTELLIGENT MANUFACTURING AND AUTOMOBILE, CITY CONSTRUCTION ENGIERRING ELECTRONIC INFORMATION ENGINEERING, OPEN EDUCATION and INNOVATION EDUCATION(INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE), with 44 specialties such as Internet of Things，Software, Electrical Automation Technology, Industrial Robot Technology, Marketing, E-commerce, Accounting, Environmental Art Design etc. CQTBI has built 5 key majors of national backbone higher vocational colleges, 2 majors of central finace supporting to improve service ability, 5 majors of municipal demonstration higher vocational colleges and 3 majors of municipal finance supporting to improve service ability.
The transportation around CQTBI is very convenient, with bus stations, subway stations around. It takes 40 minutes from CQTBI to Hechuan Railway Station, or Chongqing Railway Station by bus, and 60 minutes to Chongqing International Airport by taxi. Also, it only takes 2 hours by plane between Chongqing and Beijing, the capital of China.
Criteria & Eligibility
1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and be in good health.
2. Educational background and age limit:
- Applicants for vocational education programme must have senior high school diploma with good academic performance and be under the age of 25.
- Applicants for short-term training programme must have bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 40.
3. For applicants of Chinese-teaching program, their Chinese proficiency must reach level 4 under Chinese Language Proficiency Scales For Speakers of Other Languages.
4. Applicants of English-teaching program should be from countries using English as their official or mother language, or major in English, or have such English proficiency as 5.5 and above under IELTS or 80 and above under TOEFL.
Application Time
The applicants send the application materials to the International Exchange Office of CQTBI. The application time is from March 1st to April 30th .
Application Documents
Only scanning copy of below documents are needed if there is no extra statement. All documents should be filled or manifested in Chinese or English. An notarized copy of Chinese or English translations must be submitted for documents in other languages.
- Application form for study in China.
- Notarized highest diploma.
- Notarized Academic transcripts of highest education.
- Certificates of language proficiency.
- Foreigner Physical Examination Form (Download from http://www.csc.edu.cn/Laihua), and Blood Test Report. The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records, those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select the appropriate time to take medical examination as it is valid for only 6 months.
